Greetings and Welcome…Thank you for coming on this journey with me!

Greetings and Welcome!

And Hello 2021! 2020 was a challenge for just about all of us. A we’ve never been here before kind of year. I voiced to colleagues as the pandemic hit that quite a few people in our industry and beyond were going to need a lot of help and guidance. By the time we reached the end of 2020, this had unfortunately proven to be the case.  It was a year that caused me to reflect on one of my mantras: never take any one day or any one person in your world for granted, Pete.

2020 caused me double down on that on that mantra.

Throughout 2020, I found myself saying to anyone who would listen:  if you find someone who says they have been here before, please given them my phone number and have them call me because I’d like to talk to them...

Yes, we’ve all had our collective experiences but nothing like this past year. During the writing of my book, Endurance Real Estate,  I harkened back to our collective slogging through the Great Recession and other experiences and noted some of the similarities between the then and the now.

(Blogger’s note: as of this, my first blog post, on our new website, I’m very excited to say my book is soon to be published! The book was a labor of love, a journey I embarked on over two years ago. Endurance Real Estate started out as a chronicle for my sons, my if dad gets hit by a bus document, and has since evolved, with some prodding from colleagues, friends and family, into something I’m hoping can help you or others.)

Even though “we’ve never been here before”, and the then and now are different, there are some similarities and some experiences that can be applied to help us weather the current valley through which we are all running. For me, it has been a “circle of control” kind of year, one where I knuckle down even more than normal on what I can positively control and influence, all the while doing my level best to help others along my path…

As always, I’m grateful we live in this awesome country and though we are in a bit of a valley right now, I know we will get through this valley; the next peak is just up ahead!

Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy 2021. Here’s to you crossing your finish lines, in business or life, whatever or wherever they may be!

God Bless…

Pete Frandano

(photo comment: the photo included here is one I captured at one of my favorite places in the entire world: the Yacht Basin, located in Southport, North Carolina (the amazing town where we raised our two sons and home to the official annual North Carolina 4th of July festival); for me, this picture, with our beautiful U.S. Flag and state of North Carolina flag flying together, represents the best of our country!)
